Relationships booked in winter

Berths in the ports everybody wants are allocated between people who have known each other for twenty years. We hold ours from February and give back what we do not use, which is why we still get them.

We do not mark up third parties

Fuel, berths and provisions are passed at cost with the original invoice attached, and our fee is a stated line. An agent whose margin is hidden in the fuel has an interest in the fuel bill.

The same person all season

Not a duty desk. One agent who knows the vessel's draught, the captain's preferences and which marina manager takes a call on a Sunday, from March through October.

We say no to itineraries that do not work

A charter that starts in one country and ends in another can be a tax problem nobody notices until afterwards. Better an awkward conversation in April than an assessment in November.
